The ProTAACS Wireless RF Sensor Gateway – Ethernet allows your ProTAACS Wireless Sensors to communicate with the Online Wireless Sensor Monitoring and Notification System without the need for a PC. Simply plug this device into any open network port with internet connection and it will automatically connect with our online servers. The device will buffer up to 16,000 sensor data messages in on-board memory in the event of an internet connection interruption. When internet communication is re-established the sensor data will download to the ProTAACS online system.
The Power-Over-Ethernet option features modified gateway hardware allowing it to be powered through the Ethernet port. Note: This option includes gateway modification only and does not include an Ethernet power injector.
Data collected by the ProTAACS Ethernet Gateway from the sensors in the network can be accessed when these interfaces are turned on. Multiple interfaces can be active at the same time. All interfaces require that the sensor gateway be set to a Static IP address. (By default, the unit uses DHCP).
SNMP Poll and Trap Interface
Use SNMP software to pull in gateway and sensor data. ProTAACS provides a MIB File.
MODBUS TCP Interface
Use MODBUS TCP software to pull in gateway and sensor data. ProTAACS provides a register map.
Real Time TCP Interface
Poll on the gateway’s assigned port to retrieve gateway and sensor data.
